A mysterious Moravian stone circle crossed by two earth energy lines….
On my recent vacation, I spent a lot of time exploring Slavic ruins and sites in Moravia, Czech Republic. This one is quite special and was difficult to find in the Chriby Mountains.
So, it’s a holiday again today so I got up early and went off to map the line that goes across the city center. I figured there would be fewer people around and I was right! This line passes by Petrov, the Cathederal of Sts. Peter and Paul, in the city center and then diagonally across the Vegetable Market square. I picked the line up there this morning and tracked it across to Minoritska and through the church of John the Baptist and John the Evangelist there.
That is interesting as that church is built on the site of a very old church built by the Minorite Order ( Lesser Brothers (Minorites) of the Order of St. Francis of Assisi) around 1220-1240. This church is part of a complex that includes a monastery and another chapel. It is essentially the oldest church in Brno and now serves as the city parish church meaning that it is active for worship and prayer.
From there, I followed the line as it headed towards Brno Židenenice which was likely established also in the early 1200’s. Žide is Czech for Jew so I am guessing that this may have been named for its original inhabitants and there was a large Jewish cemetery there at one time. These days, the entire area is run down and very industrial. It has a reputation (and reality) of being occupied by gypsies and is being re-gentrified. At the beginning of the 1900’s it must have been a well-to-do area though given the architecture of some of the run down buildings there.
I followed the line street to street until finally I arrived at another church. This time, the line cut across the front of the church (essentially along the church wall). Fittingly, the church is dedicated to the St.s Cyril and Methodius (whose Saint day was yesterday and a national holiday). These are the chaps who came to Moravia at the request of the Prince Rastislav and who translated the scriptures into Slavonic in the 900’s. This church was built in 1910 to serve the rapidly growing population of the then very prosperous industrial city of Brno.
Unfortunately, this is where I had to stop as the area behind the church where the line seems to run is a huge industrial area that is all being demolished. Rather, I will take my car the other side one evening and try to pick up the line on the other side.
What also interested me is that this line passes through or very close to a large number of hospitals. Yesterday, I noted that the line I was following passed by or through a large number of schools. I wonder what that means? I may end up calling the lines something like the hospital line, school line and Park line! We will see.
Yet another thing that struck me is that the lines take me to places I have been in my past. They pass close by every home I have lived in in Brno and yesterday, I found myself passing a private clinic I had had a vein operation at a decade ago and never seen since. Today, I smiled as I past places I used to frequent but haven’t been to in 8-10 years. I kept getting a feeling that a great deal of important events have taken place in my life close by energy lines I didn’t know were there.
Finally, you also see a few interesting architectural designs and things in Brno close to the lines. Like this, for example.
I spent several happy hours today following a line north from the Castle through Brno for over 12km. Along the way, I noticed a few things that may or may not be valid and of interest. Here they are.
- The line passes through a lot of basic schools even seemingly turning to do that,
- The line also passes through a lot of kid’s playgrounds,
- When it passes through houses, they quite often appear to be decorated with figures. In one instance, I guessed where the line was just by seeing a house that looked very decorative.
This particular line is quite strong and the dowsing rods made aggressive swings when it was encountered unlike the more gentle nature of the other two lines.
Interestingly enough, at one point, a man getting out of his car asked me what I was doing. I told him in english and he told me that another person with dowsing rods had told him an energy line went through his home. I asked which home was his and confirmed that it did. This is very intriguing.
Here are a few photos of decorated homes, schools and other things I found in the energy line today….
The line also passes through the home of Thomas Graumann who as a child was rescued from the Nazi’s by Sir Nicolas Winton.
The map above shows my progress to dat. The line I was mapping today is shown in light green.
A very good article by Peter Whitaker…
I have done some further analysis on the two lines That I measured throughout a day. I measured the movement of the two E-W alignments where they are within 30 m of each other down my street. To my utter amazement, the two lines move virtually in synch with each other! As you can see below in my hand drawn and rough graphs, the difference is negligible.
Looking at the classification of lines by Rory Duff, these are Type 3 sound lines. According to him, I am not picking up what should be a whole bunch of other lines of different types but for now, I’d rather not. I’d like to complete mapping these lines through the city and see if there are others. Then and only then, shall I look for other lines…..
I have transferred my data to date to a Google map and honestly, it doesn’t look like much but this is literally hours of work and many kilometers of walking. I have found three lines so far and since I started around the Castle, I am sure there are more of this type yet to be found that do not pass by the castle.
So far as I can tell the only place the lines cross is at the castle but I have so much more work to do.
I am a bit puzzled as to why the lines sometimes make abrupt turns. Certainly in the case of the green line, the kink was very tight and it really seemed related to recent construction work – which the line would have passed through but instead took a detour around it.
I checked very carefully the 90 degree bend in the blue line. I wanted to be sure I was mapping the same line and that there were no crossing lines that I was tracking instead. So far, it checks out as a very tight turn. Why?I have no idea.
What is it that I am mapping? Again, I don’t honestly know. I pick these up dowsing and they have a thickness of 4-7m. Anyone?
It isn’t just me who can pick them up. Three others that I took to a couple of locations and then let them dowse also found the same dowsing response as I…..
